How our co-location works
Your co-located server will be placed in a rack at our Tier 4 Data Center. It will be on an 100Mbps Ethernet segment connected to our data center's core routers through our 10/100 switch. We provide you with 2 IP'sto start. You manage your server remotely via Terminal Services, telnet, ftp, PCAnyWhere or Timbuktu etc. and you always have access to visit our data centers 24x7 to work on your server with advanced coordination.

* Pricing is based on a 1 year committment. Bandwidth is priced in total bandwidth usage in/out. When you reach your tier limit, bandwidth may burst for short periods of time, but if usage consistently averages above your tier limit for more than 36 hours, packets are dropped above your limit until you request to raise your bandwidth tier. We will provide you access to our bandwidth monitoring software as part of your dedicated services for your reference.

How much are additional IP addresses?
IP's cost $2 each.
What type of server can I co-locate with you?
We typically co-locate rack-mounted servers that will fit in a standard 19" wide, 4-post, square-peg server rack. We do not provide rack rails so you will need to provide these with your colo server.
Can I send you a full tower case?
Unfortunately, we do not support full tower cases at this time. If you wish us to co-locate a full tower and it must be stood upright, you will be charged based on the amount of rackspace height it takes up (in terms of U).
How can we get our server to you?
You can either ship it to us via UPS, FedEx or another domestic shipping company or bring it into our datacenter in person.
What network card should be installed in my machine?
Any network card you install should be fine, though we recommend at least a 10/100 MBps Network Card..
How much is technical support if I need it?
Each of our co-location packages include 1 free hour of technical support per month. Each additional hour can be purchased at a rate of $60/hr.
Do you provide any backup options?
We can provide hard-disk backups at $50/mo by installing our backup software on your server. There is an intial setup fee of $100 per server.
How is your network manned?
The data center we use, owned and managed by Data Foundry, is manned and monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by Data Foundry professionals. Our network is monitored 24/7 and we arlerted if our connection experiences interruption.

What type of Internet connections do you have?
The Data Center has multi-homed OC-48 connections to major exchange points and Internet transit carriers around the globe. Please see our data center specifications for more information.
What types of security measures to you have in place
The data center uses the latest devices and counter-measures in data and physical security. All of our data center facilities are monitored 24x7 by security guards. Additionally, all external and interior doors use photo badges with electronic swipe, keycode and biometric finger print identification systems. This ensures that only authorized personnel enter or exit any portion of our facility.
